October 2007
11/12/2007:Our wedding day was perfect and we want to thank all of our guests from our hearts for their presence and participation in our great day. We will post pictures and stories from the wedding when we return from our honeymoon. In the meantime, we would love to share the bridal pictures with you here.
10/22/2007:My bridal photos are online! However, they are In a private gallery as Trenton didn't want them posted on the public website, or even our website until after the wedding. He's afraid he might peek and jinx us! We will definitely post a link here after the wedding.
10/13/2007. Our wedding invitations have been mailed and you should receive them soon. The invitations are beautiful and we are very excited to get them to you. The reception card has a map on the back of it, so don't forget to bring it with you if you are not familiar with Lafayette. As you know, our wedding is only 25 days away and we would really appreciate an RSVP as soon as possible.
Please click here to RSVP.
10/3/2007. Today we booked our honeymoon. We are going to St Maarten from November 13-20. We are staying at the Wyndham Sapphire Beach Club & Resort in a deluxe ocean view room. Our room includes a terrace that features a jacuzzi overlooking the ocean.
September 2007
We took our engagement photos and you can see a few of them here. My uncle has this absolutely amazing property in Cade and we shot our engagement photos there. It is a beautiful property with ducks on the pond, a swamp, some bridges, a dock, a swing and a boat where one of the most amazing shots was taken. The weather was fantastic and the shoot was amazing. The photos came out perfect! Trenton and I love them and can't wait to have them hanging all over our house.

Our wedding day is so close now!
We are taking our engagement photos in early September and will post them here just as soon as possible.
Our invitations have finally arrived and we will post one here soon.
We have decided on a wedding cake design and the cake flavors will be French cream on butter cake, and raspberry cream on chocolate cake. Our wedding cake topper will be a silver monogram "L".
Trenton's groom cake is a chocolate LSU helmet cake and will be appropriately displayed on a table decked in purple and gold colors.
My bridal veil arrived and it is gorgeous. The bridesmaids dresses have also arrived, along with the flower girl's dress. Things are beginning to fall into place!
Our groomsmen will be attired in black two-button Tommy Hilfiger tuxedos, with black shirts, champagne ties and champagne pocket squares.
Trenton will be wearing the same suit, but with all white underneath. Our father's are wearing the traditional black suits with white shirts and ties of their choice.
I have narrowed down my flower choices. I really like the white iris flowers with blue veining for the groomsmen and I want my bouquet to include the fluffy white iris flowers and small blue and purple flowers. We have included iris pictures in the rotating images at the top of this page so that you can see what our flowers will look like.
My step-sister, Krystal Degueyter has graciously taken on the task of designing our programs and has been drafted as my unofficial "bride's assistant" She will be handing out programs at the wedding and greeting people at the door.
We have decided on wedding favors, but that will be a surprise.
Our next major hurdle is booking the wedding day transportation and honeymoon.
We will keep you posted!
July 2007
We ordered the wedding invitations yesterday. They are beautiful and read:
Because you have shared in our lives
by your friendship and love, we
Julie Anne Lanclos
and
Trenton Don Langwell
together with our parents
invite you to share
the beginning of our new life together
when we exchange marriage vows
on Saturday, the tenth of November
two thousand and seven
at half past one o'clock in the afternoon
Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist
Lafayette, Louisiana
I am still trying to decide what color flowers I want for the wedding and will soon need to choose between purple or red.
You can click here to see a portion of my scrapbook that has pictures of some of the beautiful flowers that we have been debating. You will see my dilemma!
We are closing in on the wedding cake
We are undecided about the flavor for our wedding cake. The baker offers 8" sample cakes for us to try different flavor combinations. So far, our cake flavor is French cream on butter cake. But we are going to sample the raspberry cream on a chocolate cake next. We have three tiers on our cake to play with! We will keep you posted.

We bought a new house!
We are so excited to share our latest news with you on this page. Rotating at the top of this page are some photos of the house that we just purchased in Lakepointe Subdivision in Lafayette, LA.
It is a beautiful house and we are so looking forward to making it our home.
Our winter wedding will allow us to spend the upcoming holidays as husband and wife in our first home and we are happily anticipating making it our very own.
